Iron fines :

Iron fines are small particles of iron ore that typically come from mining or processing activities. They are often a byproduct of crushing, grinding, or other ore processing operations. Iron fines are used in several industries:

Steelmaking: Iron fines can be used in sintering or pelletizing processes, where they are agglomerated into larger lumps or pellets, making them suitable for use in blast furnaces or direct reduction iron (DRI) plants.

Foundries: They can also be used in foundries for iron casting as an additive or to improve the casting quality.

Pig Iron Production: In some cases, iron fines are used in the production of pig iron, which is then refined into steel.

Iron fines are advantageous because they allow steel plants to use smaller particles of iron ore, reducing waste and improving the efficiency of iron and steel production.

Iron ore fines are agglomerated into pellets and then indurated using a furnace to create iron ore pellets. These are typically fed to a blast furnace or DRI plant as part of the process to make steel.

Dolochar :

Dolo Char is an industrial solid waste produced as a by-product of direct reduction of iron (DRI) process for the production of sponge iron. Dolo Char is a good filler material as it obtained less dry density and also contains some other satisfactory data

In the manufacturing of Sponge Iron wherein raw materials used are Iron Ore & Coal. The same are placed into Rotary Kiln where reduction of Iron Ore into Sponge Iron takes place with Coal at a certain range of temperature. The Iron Ore converts into Sponge Iron having the content of magnetic as well as non-magnetic or low magnetic materials. The magnetic material is called Sponge Iron and remaining left out byproduct is of non magnetic/low magnetic material is called Dolochar.

It Can Be Used As Fuel In Power Plant Boilers, Whbc And Cfbc, It Is Also Used By Brick Industry

Coke Fines :

Coke fines are small particles or fine granules of coke, typically produced as a byproduct during the coke-making process. Coke, a high-carbon fuel, is derived from coal and used primarily in steelmaking as a reducing agent in blast furnaces. However, the fine particles (or "fines") generated during production have distinct characteristics and applications.

Key Uses of Coke Fines

Sintering: Coke fines are often used in the sintering process in steel production, where they are combined with iron ore and other materials to create sinter, a product fed into blast furnaces.

Fuel Source: Due to their high carbon content, coke fines are used as a fuel source in some industrial furnaces, kilns, and boilers.

Carbon Additive: In metallurgical applications, coke fines can serve as a carbon additive in various processes.

Chemical Production: The fines are sometimes used in the production of chemicals where carbon is required, though this is less common than its use in steel.

Challenges and Considerations

Using coke fines can present handling and storage challenges due to their fine particle size, which may lead to dust formation. As a result, they often need specialized equipment to manage and incorporate them into industrial processes effectively.

Breeze Coke :

Coke breeze, also called as coke fines, is low ash metallurgical coke of very small grain size (0 - 10 mm). During metallurgical coke production in coke oven batteries, the screening operation is where pieces and dust too small for steel making are removed. These fines are called coke breeze. It is used in refractories, sintering operations and cement industries.

Silica Ramming Mass :

Silica ramming mass, also known as acidic ramming mass or quartzite powder or quartz powder. Silica ramming mass is a product to be used in Coreless Induction Furnaces for melting of scrap to liquid steel. It is a dry lining refractory that can be used for all types of iron, steel, aluminium and foundries.

The raw material of silica ramming mass is high quality quartz, mixed with high quality boric acid. Silica content of its raw material is more than 99%. Generally we will add 1 % to 1.5 % to premix with quartz, but it can be changed as per customers' requirements.

This is one of the most popular products in our company, according to customers' feedback, this product can be used for 20 heats to 40 heats on furnace capacity from 10MT to 40MT. Our monthly production capacity is 10,000MT/month.
